Cancer Specialists of Charleston welcomes you to our office.  Our practice was founded in 2006 by Paul L. Baron, MD, FACS an experienced breast surgeon on the belief that the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer and benign disease is most efficient and accurate when areas of expertise work together as a team. We treat each patient with respect and as a partner in the decision-making process.  

Our office is located within the Charleston Breast Center.  Imaging services are often coordinated at the time of your visit to our office. Coordinated imaging provides immediate results needed for your care.  No longer do you have to travel between offices and wait days or weeks to get answers.  We try to give you the answers to your questions on the first or second appointment.

We know that when a team of doctors and health professionals work together the patient benefit.  This team approach is especially important when a new diagnosis of breast cancer is made.  Each week we participate in the weekly multidisciplinary breast tumor conference hosted at the Charleston Breast Center.  You receive the benefit of this team approach as surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, breast imaging specialists, radiation therapy and other member of the team discuss each patient and begin the treatment planning process.
